TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU BOOK UNDER
We are located a 10 minute drive from the main road, this involves some narrow lanes and steep hills
The pub is closed on Mondays, not our fault we don't own it, everyone needs a day off!
The Field is nearly level in parts to camp on, not a bowling green.
We don't allocate pitches, we try to leave the field as natural as possible
There is a strict 11pm quiet rule.
This is a Dog friendly site we also like to hear kids play and have fun.
We are not a large commercial caravan site. so please dont expect one
Our facilities are basic and rustic, but kept very clean unless we have monsoon weather, then it gets a bit hard.
If everyone wants a shower at 10 am expect to queue for the two showers
We do not provide a reception area, evening entertainment, hard standings, EHU, we do not have a pool, unless you include puddles in the rain.
If someone decides to have a domestic and make noise, we will provide buckets of cold water to cool them off, but please don't hold us responsible.
We love feedback, but we cant change, our location, the weather, other peoples children, other peoples dogs, the lie of the land.
We do not give discounts we are cheap enough.
We are a basic site, in an outstanding area of views and natural beauty, with reasonable prices and a laid back attitude.
WHEN USING OUR SITE PLEASE REMEMBER
Whilst we make every effort to ensure our campsite and all it's faciltites is/are safe for it's users, we are located in a rural environment and we will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property or person, child or pet including motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained.
All play equipment is risk assessed reguarly, however it is for parents to decide whether they want their childeren to use any of the equipment available, therefore we will not be held responsible for any injury caused of any person using the play equipmnet on site.
We also do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by plants, trees or wildlife or by out of our control weather conditions.
By staying here, visiting or using any of our facilities you do so under this agreement.
Terms & Conditions
The contract is with Ms Kate Dobson, Byelanes, Hennock, TQ13 9QD who will not be liable to any person visiting, for any personal injury, fatal or non-fatal unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Hennock Hideaways will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including, motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained. Including any use of the play area and any equipment within it.
We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and we reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us under this cirumstance no refund of monies will be paid.
In peak and high seasons pitches are available from 12pm on the day of your arrival. In value and low seasons you may arrive earlier. You must vacate by 12pm on the day of departure and leave the pitch in a clean and tidy state.
You can have up to ten persons per pitch and book the extra persons per pitch. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your vehicle and unit on the pitch allocated to you. If you decide to bring extras, these must fit within the pitch. Approximatley 10 m x 10 m maximum however this is only a guide and can be flexible if you let us know before your arrival. Please ask about special requirments before you book.
NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN EXCEPT and if so are at the managements discretion or the cancellation is due to our own fault.
We require full payment at the point of booking. Payment is taken securely through a payment system called Stripe.
Cancellation and Early Departure
Bookings are 50% refundable for individual/family bookings cancelled at least 14 days before your arrival date. No refund will be given to customers cancelling their stay within 2 weeks of their arrival date. No part refund will be given to people leaving early for any reason. Alternatively if you give us sufficient notice, we can try to transfer your booking to later in the season or following year if we still have space.
Alteration to bookings
Where possible we will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Bookings cancelled due to an inability to accommodate last minute changes will not receive a refund.

We ask that you take care of the pitch while you are our guests. If your ground sheet is not breathable please lift it every day. If you stay for more than 7 nights, please move your tent to another area in order to reduce wear and tear on the ground.
Bricks for barbecues to prevent grass damage are available for you to use.
The use of generators is not permitted on site.
Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed.
You must pitch as directed by the staff, not encroach upon any other pitches and consider fire risk limitation, safety and access. If your unit is judged to pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to move.
6 Metres minimum between your tent and your camping neigbour.
We allow a maximum of 10 people per pitch. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, then two pitches must be booked.
We are not able to accept bookings from single sex parties of more than 5 or from unaccompanied persons under the age of 18. If we see a group forming, we will ask you to leave and no refund of monies will be paid.
We regret that the weather is not in our control and we cannot refund any money due to adverse weather conditions.
Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch booking. Extra vehicles may incur an extra charge and may not be able to be parked next to your pitch. We do not allow commercial vehicles on site unless its your travelling vehicle.
We try to accommodate your needs but we cannot guarantee a specific pitch.
Some amenities may be restricted according to demand at the beginning and end or the season.
You must ensure children in your party are properly supervised at all times, in all areas of the site, including the play areas. We ask that unaccompanied children do not wander around the yard or barns.
If you bring a dog, this remains your responsibility at all times and not left unattended. Dog’s fouling must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of safely.
Bins are provided for your recycling. Please do not use them to leave broken equipment, groundsheets, surfboards etc. We pay to have our rubbish collected and so a £50 fine will be given to anyone found doing this. There are bins for recycling and doggie matters.
Please check invoices and confirmation emails carefully. Any mistakes not brought to our attention will not be the responsibility or the management.
Your booking is per person and includes the unit you are staying in. All extra tents/toilet tents/ awnings/storage tents etc. maybe charged and permission must be given before erection, usually via email or phone beofre arrival.

11pm is shhhhhhh (quiet whispering, murmering time) we may appear by your pitch in the dark and scare you into being quiet, worse still ask you to leave!
No loud music EVER
Acoustic instruments are fine but please ask your camping neighbour/s
Please use a pillow if you are known to snore loudly
If you are that person that likes an alcoholic beverage and as you drink more your voice gets louder and louder, please think before you drink. Other campers will scowl at you in the morning and then complain to us and in turn we will complain to you. Or we get THAT text or call at 2am and have to visit you in our pyjamas, half asleep, rather annoyed with a torch, we like to sleep too! Please don't be THAT annoying person that ensures we have to.
The Company and its employees accept no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage to any persons or property occupying or using any part of the site at Hennock Hideaways, however caused. Any person in breach of the booking conditions or site rules, may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any person causing offence to other guests at the park may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any decision made Hennock Hideaways management is final
If there is a problem or dissatisfaction with any matters under our control, please notify us immediately, so we may have the opportunity to rectify issues. We cannot accept liability in relation to any claim of whatever nature if you fail to notify us within seven days from the end of your stay with us.
