Facilities
WATER RECEPTACLES AND A LIGHT SPRINKLING
We have a shower cabin, which has two family-size shower rooms with, toilets, basins and benches in them, we have built them this way, so if you have a family and need to keep them contained, you can attempt to make yourself feel alive without worrying.
We have two more toilets (in sheds) with basins near the shower blocks, small but perfectly formed.
Please note that our showers are located 80 metres from pitches and down a slope
DOG's
Livestock Friendly Dogs' are welcome, and a special bin for doggie matters is provided. Leads may be necessary at busy times.
WARNING
Due to our site having unallocated pitches and welcoming kids and dogs, we can not guarantee a space to camp away from them
DO WE HAVE WIFI?
No, this is Hennock, we are lucky to get broadband at the house but the mobile signal is good and 5G/4G seems good too, will be the year 2099 before we get considered for Fibre optic we may install WIFI then
WATER
Devon's finest Tap Water is provided. Three taps for drinking are dotted around the field, however, any tap you find here on your travels around the site is safe for drinking
We have a Chemical Disposal Point, it is hidden as it's ugly so just ask and we will point it out

PITCHES
When it comes to pitches, we embrace diversity in tent sizes, whether they be bell tents or family tents of various dimensions. As long as you maintain a minimum distance of 6 meters from your camping neighbours, you have the freedom to choose your pitch location. Parking next to your pitch is allowed, but kindly refrain from executing rally-type doughnuts in the field.

If you're arriving as a family or a group of friends, please inform us during the booking process for better accommodation arrangements.
CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA
At the bottom of the camping field, our little cherubs decided they would share their playthings with other children, for the Under 6's (Supervision is a must) swings, little slides and various battered toys on four wheels.
There is a climbing frame and a trampoline, for bigger kids at the top of the field, again supervision is a must and used at campers' own risk.
PETS CORNER - Come and meet our goats and special breed chooks.

HONESTY SHOP UPGRADE - Our shop will feature many more handy things and some not so handy, but always, where possible, sourced locally.

MICROWAVE AND KETTLE - Our shop has a microwave and kettle for campers

CHARGING POINTS - The shop has lockers where you can charge your electronics under lock and key. A refundable deposit is required for the key (6 lockers)
STABLE WITH A TABLE
Honesty Shop is open 24 hours a day, in High Season (July & August) Low Stock at other times. There's a freezer to store your ice packs in here and a communal fridge, as well as the bags of logs
TEA SHED
Our little Tea shed, near the pitches, is where you can do your dishes. Tourist info is also in here with a large ordnance survey map on the wall.
THE LOCAL PUB
The local pub "The Palk Arms" is a two-minute walk and a 10-minute crawl back if you decide to sample the fine Devon Wine or the local Ale.

ELECTRIC
We don't have EHU but we do have an electric point near the shower block, so campers can blow up air beds and charge a power bank or phone, this is free for campers.
RUBBISH
We don't have a business waste collection, take your landfill rubbish home with you, we will happily recycle bottles, cans and cardboard, food, plastics. PLEASE SEPARATE INTO BINS PROVIDED. We can't take broken chairs, beds, tents or kitchen sinks.
BBQ's
Feel free to have a BBQ or campfire please rise off the grass, bricks to use are provided at the bonfire area
CAMPFIRES
Logs are available for £6 per bag on site, we also sell locally-made BBQ charcoal and firelighters. A bag contains small logs, split to the right size for small fires.
We want to save our grass, so bring a fire pit or basket, we supply small BBQ/fire baskets that you are welcome to use for a small fire. First come first serve basis.
